Biography

Born in 1999 in Germany's Capital Berlin, Julius grew up listening mainly to works by Ludwig van Beethoven and started taking Keyboard lessons in elementary school. He wrote first compositions at age 10 and found more inspiration in the movie scores by Hans Zimmer, who now became his musical role model. While making short movies (including original music) out of family vacation videos, Julius' interest in music production and recording soon overcame the passion of film-making. Now taking classical piano and composition lessons, his plan was, to study classical composition, but even though he tried to get into this course of study, at this point his composition and playing style was developing into jazz and funk. With his friend Alexander Fritsch he started the band with the telling name "Proper Jazz", which released its first album in 2018. The first Solo Project "Worth Waiting" is a mixture of his classical and jazz influences. Knowing the technical aspect of music production and currently studying computer science, in the future Julius might be working on music production software while certainly keeping new releases coming.
